1. The 90-Day Challenge

The 90-Day Face Transformation Challenge ("the Challenge") is a paid program operated by Facet. Participants pay a one-time entry fee, processed by Stripe outside of Apple's In-App Purchase system, and commit to scanning their face daily for 90 consecutive days.

The standard Challenge entry fee is $29.99 (USD). A reduced founder/early-window price of $19.99 may be offered inside a time-boxed window after your first scan. The price you pay is shown clearly on the Challenge entry screen and locked at the moment of purchase.

Because the Challenge entry fee is processed outside of the App Store, Apple is not involved in the transaction, and any refund or billing issue must be resolved directly with Facet rather than Apple.

The Challenge is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.

You must reside in a country where participation is not prohibited by local law. Participants are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local regulations.

No payout account is required to enter or participate. If you are eligible for and choose to claim the $500 cash prize, you must provide a valid PayPal account or bank account capable of receiving international transfers for disbursement. The entry-fee refund available to participants who complete all 90 days without achieving the +2 improvement is returned to your original payment method automatically and does not require a separate payout account.

One active challenge per person. You may re-enter after a previous challenge has ended.

3. What's included

Your entry fee includes: unlimited face scans for the duration of the challenge (measurement weeks plus 90 days), full score breakdowns after every scan, a personalized improvement routine with step-by-step instructions and timers covering skincare, exercise, and sleep — customized to your available time and experience level — and 3 streak freezes.

Participants who complete all 90 days (win or not) are also offered a free first year of Facet Pro+ as a completion reward. Redeem from the in-app end-of-challenge screen. Apple bills the standard $19.99 per year after the first 12 months unless you cancel in iOS Settings. The reward is processed via Apple's StoreKit and follows their standard subscription rules — only available to users who have not previously subscribed to Pro+.

4. How it works

Week 0 (Measurement Week): You scan your face every day for 7 days. Your daily scores are averaged to establish your baseline score. This week does not count toward your 90-day streak.

Days 1–90 (The Challenge): You scan your face once per day, every day, for 90 consecutive days. You receive your full breakdown, follow your personalized routine, and track your progress.

Streak freezes: You have 3 streak freezes. If you miss a day, a freeze is automatically applied. If you miss a 4th day without a freeze available, you are disqualified and the challenge ends.

Week 13 (Final Measurement Week): After completing day 90, you scan daily for another 7 days. These scores are averaged to establish your final score. This week does not count toward the 90-day streak.

Your improvement is calculated as: final average score minus baseline average score.

5. Scoring methodology

Scores are generated on-device using your device's TrueDepth 3D sensor. Facet measures 70+ facial dimensions including distances in millimeters, angles in degrees, and proportional ratios.

Baseline score: the average of all daily scans during week 0. Final score: the average of all daily scans during week 13. Averaging across 7 days reduces day-to-day measurement variance.

Individual results vary. A +2 point improvement may not be achievable for all participants. Scores reflect measurable physical changes — they are influenced by factors including skincare, facial exercises, sleep, hydration, weight changes, and natural variation.

6. Prize: $500 cash

Participants who meet all of the following criteria are eligible for the Challenge prize: complete all 90 days of the challenge (streak freezes permitted), achieve a final score at least 2.0 points higher than the baseline score, and agree to share before-and-after results publicly.

The prize is $500 USD, paid via PayPal or bank transfer within 30 days of successful verification. The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes in their jurisdiction.

Certain seasonal challenge editions may offer increased prize amounts up to $999 USD. Seasonal editions follow these same terms with the prize amount specified at enrollment.

7. Completion refund

Participants who complete all 90 days of the challenge (streak freezes permitted) but do not achieve a +2.0 point improvement receive a refund of their entry fee, returned to the original payment method within 30 days.

Refunds are processed by Facet through the original payment processor. They are not App Store refunds — the entry fee is not processed through the App Store.

Participants who quit early or are disqualified due to missed days forfeit their entry fee and receive no refund.

Eligible refunds are issued automatically. If you haven't received yours within 30 days of week 13, email legal@rencix.com.

8. Verification and disqualification

Facet reserves sole discretion to review all winning submissions for scoring accuracy and consistency.

Scan checkpoint images are stored on your device at: the first scan, day 30, day 60, day 90, any scan where your score changes by 0.3 or more, and every streak freeze day. These images never leave your device unless you explicitly consent to submit them for prize verification.

Winners must grant explicit consent to submit saved images for verification before any data leaves their device. All server-side data is permanently deleted after verification and payout processing.

Entries may be disqualified if Facet determines, at its sole discretion, that: scanning conditions were deliberately manipulated (lighting, angles, cosmetics applied inconsistently), a different person's face was used for any scan, any form of device or software tampering occurred, or the participant violated any of these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

Facet's total liability to any participant is limited to the entry fee paid.

Facet is not liable for any injury, health issue, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Challenge or from following any recommended routines. Participants assume full responsibility for their own health and fitness decisions.

The routines provided are general wellness suggestions and not medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional before starting any new health or fitness regimen.

10. Release and hold harmless

By entering the Challenge, you release Facet and its owners, employees, and affiliates from all claims, damages, losses, and liabilities arising from your participation in the Challenge, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or adverse health effects.

11. Dispute resolution

All disputes arising from the Challenge shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration.

You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration. You may pursue claims in small claims court as an alternative to arbitration.

The party seeking arbitration must notify the other party in writing at least 30 days before filing. During this 30-day period, the parties will attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

12. Modification and cancellation

Facet reserves the right to modify challenge rules or cancel the Challenge due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to legal, regulatory, or financial reasons.

In the event of cancellation, all active participants receive full refunds of their entry fees. Modifications to rules will not apply retroactively to participants already enrolled in an active challenge.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes not resolved through arbitration shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Riga, Latvia.
