1. About Facet

Facet is a facial analysis app that uses your device's TrueDepth sensor to scan your face, generate a score based on 70+ measurements, and provide a personalized improvement plan. All scanning and scoring happens entirely on your device.

2. Who can use Facet

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use Facet.

Facet is available worldwide, though certain features like the 90-Day Challenge may have geographic restrictions. See the Challenge Terms & Conditions for details.

3. What Facet does and doesn't guarantee

Facet provides facial measurements and scores for informational and self-improvement purposes only. Scores are based on mathematical ratios and proportions — they are not medical assessments, diagnoses, or professional beauty evaluations.

We do not guarantee that following any improvement routine will produce specific results. Individual outcomes vary based on genetics, lifestyle, consistency, and many other factors.

Measurement accuracy depends on your device's TrueDepth sensor, lighting conditions, and consistent scanning position. While we strive for precision, minor variations between scans are normal.

4. Your account

Your Facet data is stored locally on your device. We do not create server-side accounts or store your facial data in the cloud during normal use.

We reserve the right to terminate access to the app if you violate these terms, attempt to manipulate scoring systems, or engage in fraudulent activity.

5. Purchases

Facet's core app is free to use. All measurement, scoring, and routine features are included at no charge.

The optional 90-Day Challenge has a one-time entry fee processed by Stripe outside of Apple's In-App Purchase system. Refunds and disputes for the Challenge entry fee are handled by Facet directly, not by Apple — see the Challenge Terms & Conditions for details.

Future versions of Facet may introduce an optional Pro subscription via Apple's In-App Purchase system. If and when that ships, any changes to these terms will be communicated in-app.

6. Intellectual property

All content in Facet — including the scoring algorithm, improvement routines, interface design, and written content — is owned by Facet and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the app or its scoring methodology.

7. Health disclaimer

Facet is not a medical device. The improvement routines provided (skincare, exercise, sleep optimization) are general wellness suggestions, not medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your health routine.

You assume full responsibility for your own health and fitness decisions. Facet is not liable for any injury, health issue, or adverse outcome resulting from following any routine or suggestion provided in the app.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Facet's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the specific feature or service giving rise to the claim.

Facet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Apple disclaimer

This app is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or warranty for this app.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Facet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes through the app.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Riga, Latvia.
